What makes our product so unique?
Thermoline high-temperature insulations operate on the principle of thermal separation. Our microporous insulation components are highly efficient panels which provide unprecedentedly high thermal insulation at minimal thickness. Between the spherical particles, only point-shaped transitions are formed. The result is an exceptionally low solid-state thermal conductivity.
What are our Thermoline insulation products made of?
Typically, the microporous material consists of inorganic silicates. The main component is highly dispersed silicic acid. The remaining components are opacifiers used to minimize infrared radiation, and reinforcing glass filaments.

What are the benefits of our Thermoline insulation products?
Thermoline high-temperature insulations deliver up to eight times higher thermal performance compared to conventional insulation materials of the same thickness. With the same insulating effect, Thermoline products can reduce layer thicknesses by a factor of up to 8 and decrease weight by a factor of 2 to 15. This results in a significant reduce in energy consumption. In addition, our microporous insulation components are distinguished by their exceptional durability.
Where can you find our Thermoline insulation products?
Our high-temperature insulations are used in a wide range of industries – from insulating mufflers and catalytic converters in the automotive and motorsport sectors, such as Formula 1, to pipelines in oil production, solar parks or high-temperature gas fans. Furthermore, our insulation products are employed in renewable energy systems and to protect heat-sensitive pharmaceutical products in insulated packaging. You will also find our microporous insulation components in battery insulation, fuel cells, high-temperature furnaces, refractory panels, and heat protection mats.
